Promotional site

Case study.

In December 2007, we decided to start the huge project with our promotionsite for our class, Digital Media 2009, at Hyper island. We choose a management team to lead the project and keep it on the right track at all times.

Challange:
We knew that the timeframe for this project was pretty tight, but we never realy understood how tight so we sat our deadline and planed a releaseparty in the end of Februari, wich gave us about 2 months to come up with a concept, realize it and make it work with both code and design. Not to mention that no one of us had ever worked with this size of project before.

Solution:
The concept was set to switched parts, where we invites the business (in this case, agencies) to come to us and tell us why they should get a student as an intern, rather then we trying to sell our souls to them. The layout and design was based on the will to take something that was already hot, and make it hotter. Working with paper-vision transitions and 3d was our answer to that. Also using video togehter with paper-vision was something that none of us had never realy seen anywhere else before. Making it interactive in the way that agencies can upload their own videos to promote themselves and also having a hidden function that basicly allows you to enter "behind the scenes" material after a certain number of video views.

Team:
The team that made this happend are all students at the Digital Media 2009, Stockholm class. Names and roles can be found under Credits at dm09stockholm.com (No longer online).
